November 2021 Newsletter

Dear Pursuing Faith Family,

It’s hard to believe we’re half-way through fall already!

Here in Colorado, the air is crisp and cool, and the colors on the trees are vibrant and colorful. It’s an inspiration and reminder of God’s faithfulness in all seasons of life. As we adjust to our new season here, and devote ourselves to this new ministry, we find ourselves not only grateful for creation around us, but for the new and exciting work that God is doing.

Over the last few months, we’ve witnessed people recommit their lives to the Lord, atheists come to faith for the very first time, and hundreds of people who have struggled with doubt find hope and a way forward. On behalf of my wife and I, we want to thank you so much for your generosity, encouragement, and especially your prayers. We definitely sense them, and day by day, we’re witnessing the fruit of your love. God once told the prophet Ezekiel that he was looking for someone who would ‘stand in the gap’ on behalf of the people (Ezekiel 22:30). As you know, Ezekiel rose to the challenge, and God used him to initiate revival throughout Israel. I’m praying for a similar revival in our nation, a fresh move of the Holy Spirit, and that we as a country would have a radical encounter with Jesus. I believe and hope that such a revival is near. But, like any revival throughout history, it will be initiated by those who are committed to prayer.

Again, thank you so much for ‘standing in the gap’ on behalf of Pursuing Faith.

If you follow on social media, you know it’s been a fruitful and busy few months for us. I’ve had the opportunity to speak in a number of US cities, conferences, and churches. Looking ahead this weekend (Nov 6-7th), I’ll be teaching for a series called ‘Full Immersion’ in Rancho Cordova California, and Warehouse Church in Sacramento. Then, on November 14th, I’ll be speaking in the Denver area at White Fields Community Church. I included the graphics and info for this event below. If you or someone you know live nearby and would like to attend, we would love to see you.

I appreciate your prayers for these events!

Our latest episode for Pursuing Faith Podcast is now live. Also, I recently had the opportunity to interview professor and theologian N.T. Wright. He lives in Oxford, England, and is currently teaching at the University there. We had a wonderful conversation on a variety of issues related to faith and doubt. It’s been so encouraging to hear how Pursuing Faith Podcast has impacted lives throughout the world. In fact, according to our latest report, it has now reached 527 cities and 31 countries globally!

We are humbled and grateful for all that God is doing. And deeply grateful for each of you, and your support of this ministry. God is using you to reach thousands of people, to strengthen the faith of the doubter, to bring the gospel to the lost and hurting, and to introduce them to the truth and beauty of God’s Word.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

With love,

Dominic and Elyssa Done
