Dear Pursuing Faith family,
We began this ministry just over a year ago because of the desperate need we saw to engage with people who are struggling to navigate issues relating to faith, doubt and apologetics.
And, as you are well aware, the spiritual need in our nation is only growing more pronounced.
According to a recent PEW research article, we are witnessing a record number of people who are leaving the church, Christianity, and actively deconstructing their faith. As these graphs indicate, the trends are alarming:
Because of these accelerating trends, I’m daily in conversations with pastors, churches, leaders and individuals who are not only seeking to understand this secular moment, but also trying to minister to those who are wrestling with their faith. We deeply covet your prayers as we continue to minister into this space to bring Jesus to the lost, lonely, and disenfranchised.
And we thank God for all that he has done through Pursuing Faith in 2022.

Our podcast has been downloaded over 31k times in 85 countries and 2,300 cities!
We’ve had the opportunity to speak in over 50 national and international venues about issues of faith, doubt and apologetics. This includes churches, ministry staff, pastors’ conferences, festivals, Bible Colleges, Universities and non-profits.
In April, I released my second book: Your Longing Has a Name. Based on 2 Peter 1, this book provides a practical and personal guide to growing in faith. We are so grateful for how God is using this resource in churches, schools and study groups throughout the country.
In recent months, we’ve formed a small collective of young pastors for discipleship and cultural apologetics.
We taught a week-long course in Mexico for college-age students, and a few months ago I spent a week serving Ukrainian refugees and volunteers in Austria.
We are so grateful for these and many other doors God has opened in the last 12 months. And we are so grateful for you: your faithful prayers and generosity, as we partner together to engage in this crucial mission.
